Qualified learners will be able to perform essential tasks such as patrolling premises, responding to emergencies, controlling access, maintaining security equipment, and writing reports 

The security industry is rapidly growing due to increasing crime rates, necessitating licensed and competent security officers 

This entry-level qualification is designed for individuals entering the security field or those already working without formal qualifications, enhancing their career opportunities 

Learning Assumed to Be in Place

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available for accessing assessments, where accredited providers confirm prior learning through statements or work experience records 

Entry requirements include an NQF Level 2 qualification with competencies in Communication and Mathematical Literacy
