Purpose and Rationale of the Qualification
The purpose of this qualification is to prepare learners to function as Commercial Cleaners, cleaning offices, retail complexes, warehouses, and other commercial premises.
This qualification addresses the skills needed for commercial cleaners, a high-turnover industry, with a need for formalized training. The qualification will enhance commercial value, improve customer experiences, and provide opportunities for growth.
Learning Assumed to Be in Place
Learners may have prior experience or training in related fields, such as laundry work or healthcare cleaning.
Learners can gain access to the qualification through RPL (Recognition of prior learning), and will be credited for modules completed through RPL.
